At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of the government department to understand the latest industrial policies; Experts and scholars in the field of steel structure shared cutting-edge technologies, new materials and new processes, technical research results and practical experience; The company representatives had an in-depth exchange on the opportunities and challenges facing the steel structure industry.
The meeting pointed out that in 2023, China’s steel structure industry has achieved good results: output has risen steadily; The output value increased slightly year-on-year, and the room for improvement is large; The construction area of steel structure under construction has increased; Steel structure industry strength continues to grow.
As the national and local efforts to promote steel structure buildings continue to increase, steel structure has been widely used in many fields. According to the data collected by the China Building Metal Structure Association for the completion of steel structure key projects in 2023, super high-rise buildings, office buildings accounted for 22%, cultural and sports venues accounted for 24%, exhibition centers, shopping centers accounted for 10%, stations, terminal projects accounted for 8%, schools, hospitals accounted for 6%, housing accounted for 1%, industrial plants, warehousing accounted for 18%. Bridges (municipal) accounted for 11%.
Participants believe that the next step, the construction industry will usher in a deep adjustment, steel structure building to take the responsibility, to lead by scientific and technological innovation, combined with the construction of modern steel structure industrial system, to promote the whole chain, the whole field of industrial integration.
